Rationale GREAT MANDATE Sharing the word of God is commanded in the scriptures. Matthew 28:18-20 says, 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying. "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. "Amen. Youth are important components of the world/country because in them lies the future of our country.
YOUTH PROBLEMS Youth faces various psychological problems nowadays. Bullying, disobedience to parents and authority, and suicidal attempts are just few of those problems brought partly or mainly by the changing cultural atmosphere.
GOVERNMENT POLICIES
The government, through the DepEd Order No.8 s.2013 and DO 28 s.2001, promotes values education to be taught in schools. The DepEd Schools Division of Capiz issued Division Advisory No.311 s. 2022 endorsing the letter request of Capiz Christian Ministry-Covenant Maker, Inc.to conduct lectures concerning values formation and spiritual transformation for Senior High School students.
The teaching group is composed of pastors and leaders endorsed by Capiz Christian Miristry-Covenant Maker, Inc. These are individuals who have been called by God to share His word and have passion for souls in order to be productive.
TEACHING MATERIALS The main teaching material is this bock in four volumes covering 80 topics. Each lesson is divided into 4 parts which can coincide with four academic quarters. The four main lesson parts are 1) introduction of lesson inducing the lesson topic, focus, and bible reference;2) game related to the lesson, 3) lesson presentation, and 4) wrap up including questions for small group discussion. In the actual presentation of lessons, teachers are free to incorporate songs and prayers among other related teaching elements. |
