GOING INTO MISSIONS

You are becoming part of the Core! You have moved from the level of the community, to the crowd, to congregation, to the committed, and to the core. The core of the church are those with deepest level of commitment. They are those who have started to lead and serve in the church ministries according to their gifting.

More than that, they are those, they are those who move back to the community to share the Messiah to others and lead them to become disciples as well.

WE ARE TO OBEY THE GREAT COMMISSION

God is at work for the redemption sinful man. He saved us and made us members of His family. He also asked us to join in His work. We are a people under commission to reach all people,
starting with those in our community (Jerusalem) then in the nations
of the world.
John 20:21 As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.

Matthew 28:19-20 So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. \And remember that I am always with you until the end of time.\

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

BE A WITNESS TO YOUR COMMUNITY

You maybe the only Messiahian so&e people will ever know who can
share to them the gospel. Shift from always thinking of self to thjnkjng of others.

Philippians 2:4 Do not let each man look upon his own things, but each man also on the things of others.

2 Corinthians 5:18 God has done all this. He has restored our relationship with hlm through Messiah, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships.

Ezeklel 3:18 Suppose I tell you that wicked people will surely die, but you don't warn them or speak out so that they can change their wicked ways in order to save their lives. Then these wicked people will die because of their sil4 butI will hold you responsible for their deaths.

REACH OUT TO THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD.

As a local churches have the apostolic call to spread the gospel in our nation through church planting. Every member and disciple is to participate in a nationwide church planting program, either as a SENDER or a GOER.

Welcome also the possibility of being a missionary. Shift from local thinking to global thinking. God is a global God, He loves the world (John 3:16). The great commission is a global commission.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation.

RECEIVE THE POWER TO BE WITNESS.

JESUS SAID WE NEED THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE WITNESSES

Act 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

PENTECOSTAL PATTERN

Act 2:1-4 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Act 2:12-15 And all were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, "What does this mean?" But others mocking said, "They are filled with new wine." But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day."
PROPHESIED BY THE PROPHET JOEL

Act 2:16-18 But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: "'And inthe last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

THE PROMISE IS ALSO FOR YOU

Act 2:37-39 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yeshua the Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself."

• Be a goer/sender for the Nationwide Church Planting
• Adopt-a-Missionary, Adopt a Nation in Prayer
