Walking Habit

OUR FORMER WALK:

According to the sinful Nature.

From the moment we were conceived, we received a fatal flaw... an inherited condition which makes sinning part of our very nature. Because of our sinful nature, our best efforts to do good will fail.

• Psa 51:5 Indeed, I was born guilty. I was a sinner when my mother conceived me.

• Mar 7:21-23 Evil thoughts, sexual sins, stealing, murder, 22 adultery, greed, wickedness, cheating, shameless lust, envy, cursing, arrogance, and foolishness come from within a person. 23 All these evils come from within and make a person unclean.\

• Rom 8:7-8 This is so because the corrupt nature has a hostile attitude toward God. It refuses to place itself under the authority of God's standards because it can't. 8 Those who are under the control of the corrupt nature can't please God.

OUR NEW WALK AS CHILDREN OF GOD:

Walk in the Spirit

1. Holy Spirit Living is made possible for us by God

God's solution to the sin problem is to give us a new nature, He did this by putting His Holy Spirit in us at the moment we received Yeshua the Messiah. God's Spirit imparts on us God's nature and God's power to live for God.

Eze 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove your stubborn hearts and give you obedient hearts. 27 I will put my Spirit in you. I will enable you to live by my laws, and you will obey my rules.

Joh 3:5-7 Yeshua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God!6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.

2. We should choose to live according to the Holy Spirit.

• Gal 5:16 I say, theWalk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

• Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

• Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in the Messiah Yeshua, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

• Rom 8:4 so that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit

THE ACTIONS OF HOLY SPIRIT LIVING.

Regularly check your Holy Spirit living

• Spirit filled. Be filled with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 and Be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. Eph 5:18

• Spirit-empowered. Face each day be equipped with all the armor of God. Do not trust human ability. Luke 24:49 clothed with power from on high. Does nit rust inhuman ability.

• Spirit-guided. Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

• Spirit-sanctified. Live a clean and Holy Life. Follow the Holy Spirit He will never lead you to wickedness. Gal 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
