ASSEMBLING TOGETHER
Worshipping Habit
Spiritual growth thrives inconstant and strong relationship with other growing believers.
Heb 10:25 We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instewe must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.
THE EXAMPLE OF THE New Testament BELIEVERS.
Read Acts 2:42-47
1. Discover what they do when they meet:
2. What words indicate what they do are habits, not just one
time activities
ASSEMBLING IN BIG MEETINGS AND HOUSE MEETINGS:
Acts 5:42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Yeshua is the Messiah.
Acts 20:20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.
THREE MAJOR REASONS WHY WE ASSEMBLE TOGETHER
1. FOR FELLOWSHIP.
• FELLOWSHIP IN THE LIGHT:
1JO 1:7 Because we walk in the light (i.e. live in the Truth and in holiness, obeying Yeshua), we have fellowship one with one another, resulting in His blood cleansing us continuously.
• ACCEPTING & WELCOMING EACH OTHER.
Read Gal 2:9 "Right hand of fellowship" refers to the practice of welcoming a believer into the fellowship as a partner. It is a mode of greeting new believers and recognizing their part in the Body of the Messiah.
2. FOR MUTUAL MINISTRY TO EACH OTHER.
When we come together, we are instructed to bring our charismatic gifts which God has given us for the building up of the body Read Eph. 4:11-16
3. FOR PRAISE & WORSHIP.
We have been called to praise & worship God.
1Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. "
WORSHIP IS FOR GOD

Our worship must be according to god's instruction. There are seven Hebrew words translated praise. These words also suggest forms of expressing our worship to God.

to be clamorously foolish
2. Yadab - to throw out the hanworship with extended hand, lift up hands
3. Towdab. - an extension of the hand in adoration, avowal, or acceptance
4. Shabach - to shout, to address ina loud tone, to command, to triumph. Psa1m 47:1
