BIBLE FEEDING

Word Habit

FACTS ABOUf SPIRITUAL LIFE

1. It does not feed onmaterial things.
Mat 4:4 But He answered and said, It is written, \Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.\

2.It is fed and made to grow by the Word of God.
1Peter 2:2 as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;

2Ti 3:15-17 And that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in the Messiah Yeshua. All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.

FEEDING YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE WITH THE WORD OF GOD

1. Study the Word - casual readi-8g and listening is not enough to meaningfully discover Bible truths. Give time in studying what the Scripture meant.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

2. Meditate on the Word - Contemplate on the passage over and over again. Learn to be silent and review the Word in your heart. This is like digesting the Word of God.
Psalms 1:1-2 Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is only in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night.

3. Memorize the Word - God's word is like a treasure that should be kept in our hearts and mind.
Psalms 119:11 I have hidden Your Word in my heart, so that I might not sin against You.

4. Live the Word - the word becomes part of your life as you apply it.
Jam 1:22 But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
